Sebastian Hinsch’s appointment as General Manager is a testament to his impressive journey within the Lau Urtaroen marka. His career began in 2001 at The Pierre Hotel in New York, where he held the position of Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. Since then, Hinsch has steadily climbed the ranks, holding key positions at several Four Seasons properties across the globe. His experiences include serving at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole and Four Seasons Hotel Houston. At Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, he led the team through a $120 million renovation, which further showcased his ability to manage large-scale projects with precision.
Most recently, Hinsch was the General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, a prestigious property known for being the only Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel in the city. During his nearly five-year tenure in Seattle, he elevated the hotel’s reputation while promoting the Pacific Northwest region to a global audience. This diverse experience has honed Hinsch’s leadership skills, preparing him to lead Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills with both vision and expertise.
In his new role at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles, Hinsch will oversee the hotel’s 285 rooms, including its renowned dining establishments like Culina Ristorante and La OLA rooftop restaurant. Additionally, he will manage the hotel’s acclaimed spa and wellness programming, which includes the dedicated wellness floor and Vitality Experts program. Hinsch’s leadership is centered on delivering the highest standard of service, with a focus on creating personalized guest experiences that go beyond expectations.

Hinsch has always had a deep connection to each destination he has worked in and as he returns to Los Angeles, he is eager to rediscover the city through a fresh lens. Hinsch is joined in Los Angeles by his wife and two dogs, as they embark on this new chapter together.
